President Trump said the United States will never turn into a communist nation in his 2019 State of the Union location.
"We remain with the Venezuelan individuals in their respectable mission for an opportunity — and we denounce the ruthlessness of the Maduro routine, whose communist strategies have diverted that country from being the wealthiest in South America into a condition of servile destitution and despondency," Trump said Tuesday night.
"Here, in the United States, we are frightened by new calls to embrace communism in our nation," the president said. "America was established on freedom and autonomy - not government compulsion, mastery, and control. We are brought into the world free, and we will remain free."
"Today, we reestablish our determination that America will never be a communist nation," Trump pronounced.
