The kids ages 16, 22 and 24, are all American citizens.“There is no distance. I will always have them in my heart,” Oscar Campos told WCAU-TV .Campos said he fled violence in his hometown, Tamaulipas, and crossed the border into Texas in 1989.

WCAU-TV claims that after a lengthy effort to obtain work visas, the couple was ordered by immigration officials to quit the country.Democratic U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey tried to help the family stay in the U.S. He says he’s “extremely disappointed” their stay of removal was denied.
“Mr. and Mrs. Campos’ case reinforces the urgent need for us to stand united in seeking common sense solutions to our broken immigration system that are consistent with our core American principles,” he said in a statement.Just before the couple left, Oscar Campos gave his children some parting advice.
“Fight for your dreams, because life continues and you will always find good people that support you,” he said. “There are a lot of good people. Don’t give your hopes up.”

  1. If they have been here for 30 years, they had plenty of time to make it right. Nothe our fault they didn't take care of their business. That is their job, not ours.

  2. My Grandfathers had to do it right when they came through Ellis Island. What's the difference now?? The indifference of our past government leaders! Let's get this mess cleared...keep building the wall!

  3. If congress would do their damn job and reinstate the true definition of who the 14th amendment is for -newly freed slaves not illegals. then separating families wouldn't be an issue because the kids would go with the parents. We didn't have illegals back then now the liberal looneys will have a hissy fit because families are being separated. Fix the 14th and we won't have this debate again. The kids are not US citizens and congress needs to get this right or we will have pregnant illegals coming here at 9months in time to drop anchor on our soil. Now that this business is out of business then an American landscaping company can take over. Enjoy your new life in Mexico and don't forget to send for your illegal children.

  5. Why couldn't their children go with them? They chose to leave them behind.

  6. How did they stay here that long! The kids should have gone with the parents. They had alot of years to become US Citizens, so why didn't they do that. Probably because they could lose all that free stuff the Democrats love giving out. Time for Americans to stand and say enough is enough. Come into our country the right way, do the right things, then make it your country.

  7. If they entered illegally they need to leave. They had 30 years to file for citizenship!

  9. Something missing from the story. 30 years , way long enough to have applied and adjusted status. If they lay low, work, dont break the law, chance's of getting caught are pretty slim. Someone, Mom or Dad, or maybe both, did something to bring them to the attention of Immigration. I'm guessing one of them broke a State or maybe federal law, then everything else is history.

  10. They broke out laws and have enjoyed the benefits of it,but now it's time to pay just as any citizen would pay for a crime

  11. They had plenty of time to make the time to become American Citizens, but they chose not to, so now bye bye. Nobody's fault but theirs.

  16. The oldest two kids can support themselves. As long as they do that, they should be allowed to stay. The minor changes the game. That one should either be sent with the illegal parents, or adopted by one of the self sustaining siblings. Just as long as we the tax paying citizens don't have to be stuck with the bills.

  17. I have lived on the Mexico border in south Texas across from Tamaulipas Mexico all my life (68 years) and in 1989 the violence there was nonexistent. We (U.S. citizens) all went over very often to eat, shop etc all the time and were perfectly safe!! Now the cartels have taken over and it’s not as safe now. Still I agree they need to go and their kids too!!! They had all those years to apply for citizenship and preferred to CHEAT. Tough, we all have to live with our choices!! They CHOSE to sneak in and have kids here. Not our fault/problem!!

  19. I HATE it for the entire family, but this is just another example of coming here LEGALLY !!! NOT jumping the fence or crossing a river ! Yes, my people were immigrants, but they came through Ellis island

  20. I don't feel sorry for them at all. Like everyone said, they had plenty of time to make themselves legal. Hey my soon to be EX son in law and his parents are illegal when they shipping them back???

  21. Plus they likely didn't pay their fair share in taxes either. They got a great life for 30 years, not it's a true Americans turn to enjoy life.

  23. Absolutely! No ones fault but their own. Come here legally or do NOT come at all and take your kids with you! Looks like the kids are grown. They can go visit just like I visit my mom in another state. Deport all of them.
